Nokia N85 Spotted in the Wild

June 26th, 2008

Nokia seems falling in love with dual slider design. After N95 and N96, now they readies yet another dual slider, Nokia N85. As you can see, the ‘N85? uses the same dual slide design as the Nokia N95/6 but adds a lens protector instead of a ‘kick-stand’ around the camera module. It looks as if dual-LED’s are used as the flash/video light above the camera again which should help with recording video in low light conditions.

Even though this device has been called the ‘N85?, it doesn’t seem to have the new form factor described by people that have seen early prototype units. This handset may be a completely different phone and have a different model number on release. According to the pictures and to some rumours it’s features a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Symbian 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, Wi-Fi, GPS and a lot more. More over, it is focused on video and is the successor of the Nokia N96.
